This is not simply a performance. It is a space intentionally created for inward listening.

Landscapes of the Heart unfolds as one continuous journey. Rather than pausing between individual works, sound, poetry, breath, and silence flow seamlessly from one into the next, creating a shared space for presence, reflection, and deep listening.

The poetry of Palestinian-Syrian poet Dima Yousef inspired the project. Her untitled poem, incorporated into Songish, became the initial inspiration for the two world premieres that followed: My Heart Is A God, a text score, and outSide [sPac3 T1mE], a graphic score in the form of a painting.

Those collaborations opened a new direction in my artistic practice, centered on creating immersive experiences that are alive, responsive, and rooted in the present moment. While each work provides a framework, every gathering becomes its own unique experience, shaped by the audience, the space, and the present moment.

Landscapes of the Heart continues to evolve toward a full evening-length immersive ritual of listening for museums, galleries, concert halls, and other contemplative spaces.

Landscapes of the Heart is an invitation.

Through sound, breath, and silence, you are invited on an inner journey through the landscapes of the heart—its grief, its fierce compassion, and its infinite radiance.

It is a ritual of listening inward—an invitation to feel deeply, to hope, and to remember the sacred pulse that connects all our hearts.

Let us listen together—to the heart, to the silence, and to what lies beyond.
