Shanna Pranaitis

I am a
Radically
Traditional
Flutist
I believe the most traditional path for an artist is to engage deeply with the art, questions, and culture of their own time.
I am endlessly fascinated by sound.
Not just beautiful sounds. Strange sounds. Fragile sounds. Unexpected sounds. Sounds that ask us to listen differently.
My work lives at the intersection of curiosity and exploration—investigating what becomes possible when we move beyond familiar musical language and into territories that have not yet been fully mapped.
Because sometimes a single sound can change the way we hear everything that follows.
